Manage organization membership including viewing members, inviting new users, assigning roles, and removing members from the organization. Organization Members provides a centralized interface for organization owners and administrators to control access while allowing all members to view the membership list.
Capabilities

How to Use

Access organization members:
- Navigate to Organization settings via user profile menu
- Click “Organization” then “Members” in settings sidebar
- All organization members can view this page
- URL:
/settings/organization/members

View members list:
- Members tab shows active organization members with count
- Guests tab shows invited external users with count
- Each member displays avatar, name, and email address
- Role badge shows member’s organization role
- “(You)” indicator shows current user in list
- Pending invitations show “Pending” status

Search members:
- Click search box showing “Search members…” placeholder
- Type name or email to filter members list
- Results update instantly as you type
- Search works across both Members and Guests tabs
- Clear search to show all members

Invite new members [Owner/Admin only]:
- Click “Invite” button in top right corner (Owner/Admin only)
- Invitation dialog opens with email input field
- Enter email address of person to invite
- Select organization role (Owner, Admin, Member)
- Optionally assign to specific teams during invitation
- Send invitation via email
- Invited user receives email with acceptance link

Change member roles [Owner/Admin only]:
- Click role dropdown next to member name (Owner/Admin only)
- Select new role from dropdown (Organization Owner, Admin, Member)
- Role updates immediately upon selection
- Cannot change your own role
- Organization must have at least one Owner
- Members see roles as plain text without dropdown

Remove members [Owner/Admin only]:
- Click menu button (…) next to member name (Owner/Admin only)
- Select “Remove from organization” option
- Confirmation dialog appears
- Confirm removal to revoke organization access
- Cannot remove organization owners (must transfer ownership first)
- Removed member loses access to all organization resources

Not Supported:
- Members cannot invite or manage other members (view-only)
- Bulk member import via CSV file
- Custom role creation beyond predefined roles
- Removing your own account from organization
- Changing your own organization role
- Removing last organization owner
- Revoking accepted invitations (must remove member instead)
- Resending expired invitations (must create new invitation)
- Assigning multiple roles to single member
- Temporary or time-limited memberships
- Automated member provisioning via SCIM
- Exporting member list to spreadsheet
