Manage organization teams from a centralized list with search, creation, and navigation capabilities. Team Creation & List provides tools to view all teams, create new teams, monitor project counts, and access team settings through a dedicated management interface.
Capabilities
- View complete list of organization teams with project counts

How to Use

Access team management:
- Navigate to Organization settings via user profile menu
- Click “Teams” link in organization sidebar
- All organization members can access this page
- URL:
/settings/organization/teams

View teams list:
- Teams list displays all organization teams
- Each team shows avatar with initial letter or logo
- Team name appears with project count below (e.g., “0 projects”)
- Member avatars show first 5 members (“+X” for additional)
- Menu button (…) provides team actions

Create new team [Owner/Admin only]:
- Click “New team” button in top right corner (Owner/Admin only)
- “Create a new team” dialog opens
- Dialog displays team avatar preview (first letter of team name)
- Enter team name in “Team name” text field
- Avatar updates automatically with first letter
- “Create team” button enables when name is entered

Complete team creation:
- Click “Create team” button to save new team
- Dialog closes automatically on successful creation
- New team appears in teams list immediately
- Team creator becomes team owner automatically
- Click “Cancel” or X button to abort creation

Search teams:
- Click search box showing “Search teams…” placeholder
- Type team name to filter teams list
- Results update instantly as you type
- Search matches team names case-insensitively
- Clear search to show all teams

Navigate to team settings:
- Click team card to open team settings page
- Click menu button (…) for additional team actions
- Navigation preserves organization settings context
- Browser URL updates to team-specific settings path

Limitations

Not Supported:
- Uploading custom team logos or avatars
- Bulk team creation via CSV import
- Team templates or presets
- Team archiving (must delete to remove)
- Team duplication or cloning
- Custom team colors or themes
- Team categories or folders
- Exporting team list to spreadsheet
- Advanced search with filters (role, project count, etc.)
- Team creation from project page
- Assigning team owners during creation (creator becomes owner)
- Creating teams without names (name required)
- Members creating new teams (Owner/Admin only)
